Introduction

The Malaysian Private Dental Practitioners’ Association (MPDPA) was established in 1968 to represent and to serve the growing community of private dental practitioners in Malaysia.

The Association has been actively
§ Representing the interests of private dental practitioners in meetings and forums with the government.
§ Organizing quality Continuing Professional Dental Education (CPE) activities for dentists and dental nurses.
§ Organizing various activities to foster closeness and camaderie among the dental fraternity.
§ Providing opportunities for dental traders to showcase their products through Dental Trade Exhibitions in conjunction with CPE events

Our current membership stands at 570 members from all over Malaysia, and still growing. Although a modest figure, the membership we represent are among the most active and highly supportive of Continuing Professional Dental Education Programmes in Malaysia. Our members are always keen to equip themselves with the latest and most proven techniques and materials in oral healthcare, and to provide their patients with quality dental care and service.

We hope to invite you to join us in a strategic partnership to further spur the advancement of dentistry and quality patient care in Malaysia. Through the various MPDPA activities lined up throughout this year, we eagerly anticipate your participation and support.
